Negative: Presence of only one red color band in the (C) area within the result window. Comment: The level of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies is zero or below the detection limit of the test. If patient has symptoms, an RT-PCR may be recommended by the Physician/Health Care Provider. IgM POSITIVE and IgG POSITIVE: Presence of three red color band, these are seen in the (C) area, T2 (IgM) and T1 (IgG) Test line.Comment: SARS-CoV-2 antibodies detected in the specimen. Consult your Health Care Provider / Physician. A PCR based test may be requested for confirmation. IgM POSITIVE and IgG NEGATIVE:Presence of 2 red color band, these are seen in the (C) area, T2 (IgM) Test line. Comment: SARS-CoV-2 antibodies detected in the specimen. Consult your Health Care Provider / Physician. A PCR based test may be requested for confirmation. IgM NEGATIVE and IgG POSITIVE: Presence of 2 red color band, these are seen in the (C) area, T1 (IgG) Test line. Comment: If patient is asymptomatic, may indicate a presumptive past infection. If patient is symptomatic, consult your Health Care Provider / Physician. A PCR based test may be requested for confirmation. INVALID RESULTS: No visible red lines can be seen in the (C) area or only Test lines (T1 IgG and T2 IgM lines) appear but no Control line (C line) indicating an error in the test or test results are invalid. A new test should be taken. Comment: The presence of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies cannot be determined. Interfering factors may be present. Recommend other method of testing i.e. PCR based tests, if warranted by clinical condition. Consult your doctor. |
