PATIENT PREPARATIONS :
  • No food intake for at least 6 hours.
  • NOTE: No need to fast if patient has undergone cholecystectomy or surgical removal of gall bladder.
  • Avoid drinking colored drinks for at least 6 hours.
  • Full bladder is required prior the procedure.
INTENDED USE :
It may be used to assess the size and location of organs and structures of the following:
  • Liver
  • Common Bile Duct
  • Gall Bladder
  • Pancreas
  • Spleen
  • Right and Left Kidney
  • Ureters
  • Urinary Bladder
  • Female: Ovaries, Uterus 
  • Male: Prostate Gland
